Rickshaw puller held over boy’s death in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Police arrested a rickshaw puller from Patenga area of the city on Thursday night in connection with murder of a nine-year-old boy, reports UNB.

The arrestee was identified as Emon, 22.

Police recovered the body of Sohag from Khalpara Ahmedpara Barma Colony on Wednesday night.

Police arrested Emon in this connection, said SI of Patenga Police Station Prokash Pronoy Dey.

Locals said that Emon took the boy to an abandoned house and tried to violate him.

Being resisted, he hit on Sohag's head with a brick, leaving him dead on the spot.
