BGB DG Maj Gen Hossain withdrawn

Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major General Abul Hossain was withdrawn from his post yesterday. The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order on Wednesday in this regard. After withdrawing, he was attached to the Bangladesh Army. But, no one has been posted as chief of the paramilitary force till filing the report at 5 PM yesterday. Abul Hossain was appointed on as the BGB DG on On November 2 in 2016, and he served as military secretary to the president (MSP) prior to joining the post.
