Khaleda meets lawyers for legal updates

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia yesterday met with her lawyers to know about the latest updates on the pending appeal with the High Court in connection with Zia Orphanage Trust graft case and inquired about other cases, said her lawyer Advocate Sanaullah Miah. A five-member lawyer team met Khaleda to discuss the legal affairs in the old central jail at Nazimuddin Road in the capital. The team includes-president of Supreme Court Bar Association Advocate Joynal Abedin, general secretary Barrister Mahbubuddin Khokan, AJ Mohammed Ali and Abdur Rezak Khan and Advocate Sanaullah Miah.
The former premier also wanted to know about the case updates of the party leader and activists particularly who are in jail, said Sanaullah.
