‘Concert for Women’ to mark Int’l Women’s Day

To mark the International Women’s Day, Universal Medical College Hospital, located in Mohakhali, organises a daylong unique concert titled ‘Concert for Women’ today on the premise of Sultana Kamal Women Complex in the capital’s Dhanmondi area.

Popular singers Tahsan, Nancy, Imran, Bandona, Minar, Ayub Bacchu and his band LRB, among others, will perform at the concert.

National Film Award-winning actress Dilara Hanif Purnima will be present in this programme as ‘Icon Lady’ for her special contributions to the country’s cultural arena.

Presided over by chairman of Universal Medical College Hospital and Director of FBCCI Preeti Chakraborty, RAB Director General Benazir Ahmed will be present as the chief guest at the programme.

The concert will be held from 10am to 6pm, which is open to women only.
