Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested three suspected militants from the city's Motijheel area on Saturday night, reports UNB. The arrestees are Md Javed Kaiser, 31, Md Miah Rubel, 28, and Md Mamun, 27. Based on secret information, a CTTC team conducted a drive in Pirjangi Mazar area around 8pm and made the arrest. Sources at the CTTC headquarters said the trio was earlier arrested by Singapore police for their alleged involvement in militant activities during their stay there and they had also languished in Singapore jail. They returned home recently. They reportedly believe in the ideology of banned Islamist outfit 'Neo JMB'.
