The Supreme Court yesterday revoked a High Court order that had quashed the proceedings of a graft case filed by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) against BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas, reports UNB.
A four-member Appellate Division bench, headed by Chief Justice SK Sinha, passed the order after hearing a petition filed by the ACC against the High Court verdict. Advocate Nitai Roy Chowdhury stood for Mirza Abbas while Advocate Syed Mamun Mahbub represented the ACC.
