62 Jamaat men held in Rajshahi

Police arrested 62 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhattra Shibir from a mosque in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi on Sunday night.
Among those arrested include Jamaat ameer of Bagha union unit Saiful Islam, office secretary Emaj Uddin, ward president Abdur Rashid and secretary Jahangir.
Aminur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Bagha Police Station, said a police team raided the Chalk Chatari Jame Mosque in Bagha Sadar upazila after getting tipped off that Jamaat-Shibir men were holding a secret meeting there.
