MA Khaleque Mian

GAZIPUR: Prof MA Khaleque Mian, former professor, Department of Genetics & Plant Breedingof Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) died at a hospital in the capital yesterday, says a press release.

He was 65. His first namaz-e-janaza was held at the BSMRAU central mosque.

He left behind his wife, one daughter, one son and a host of relatives and admirers to morn his death.

In a message Vice-chancellor Prof Md Giashuddin Miah, students, teachers, officers, employees of this university condoled the death of Prof MA Khaleque Mian and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
