Badhan busy with two drama serials

Actress Azmeri Haque Badhan, known for her seriousness in acting, is now working in two drama serials, which are Jewel Mahud’s ‘One Way’ and Masud Sejan’s ‘Kheloar’. The actress is very selective about working in projects and DhakaLive has news that both of the drama serials are centred on the character of the actress. In the drama serial ‘One Way’, the story begins with the death of the husband of Badhan’s character, with the character remaining central throughout the play. In the drama serial ‘Kheloar’, the story revolves around the turmoil of a female student who leads a troubled life in a girls’ hostel. Here, versatile actor Chanchal Chowdhury will star opposite Badhan.

About the drama serials, Badhan said, “Without a doubt, Jewel Mahud and Masud Sejan are talented directors.  I liked working with both of them. These drama serials are centred around the character I am playing. I have worked with Jewel Mahud on several projects before and he is the one who cast me first in a drama serial after my children’s birth.”

The actress expressed her thoughts about working with Chanchal Chowdhury, “Chanchal Chowdhury is a talented high level actor. I have accomplished nothing if I compare myself with him. Working with him, I find him helpful, caring and a person who does not have the slightest ego for being a top performer.”

The actress said both the drama serials -- Jewel Mahud’s ‘One Way’ and Masud Sejan’s ‘Kheloar’ -- will be aired very soon in different channels.
