ICT-based science education stressed

There is no alternative to spreading information and communication technology (ICT)-based quality science education in producing worthy citizens for the competitive 21st century to accelerate national development, reports BSS from Rangpur. Speakers said this in the inaugural ceremony of construction works of the new academic building of Mirja Hafiz Degree College under Atoari upazila in Panchagarh district on Saturday.
The Education Enginee­ring Department (EED) has been implementing the construction works of the new two-storied academic building on four-storied foundation of the institution with various modern facilities at Taka 1.40 crore.
The new academic building will have modern
classrooms, adequate sanitation facilities for the common and disabled students, auditorium, fire fighting devices, digital clock, electricity, ceiling fans and other modern
facilities.
