Journalist Juton Chowdhury died at his residence in capital's Mohammadpur area early Sunday. He was 46, reports UNB.
Juton Chowdhury, who had been suffering from cancer, breathed his last around 12:15 am, said a press release.
Juton, editor-in-chief of 'Weekly Binodon Chitra' and a permanent member of Jatiya Press Club, left behind wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
JPC president Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman and general secretary Farida Yeasmin expressed deep shock at his death.
