GAIBANDHA: A free ENT health camp for the poor was held on the premises of Kamalerpara College under Shaghata upazila in the district on Saturday, reports BSS.
SKS Foundation, a local reputed voluntary organization, arranged the camp under its health services and nutrition activities of SAMRIDDHI (ENRICH) programme funded by Palli Karma Saghayak Foundation (PKSF).
A team of physicians led by specialist surgeon on ENT Dr. MA Jalil Khan of TMSS Medical College, Bogra conducted the health camp from 9 am to 3 pm and provided the appropriate treatment to the patients.
A total of 169 poor patients with chronically affected diseases on ENT coming from far flung areas of the upazila and its neighboring areas received free healthcare services including medicines as per the prescription of the doctors from the health camp.
