Speakers at a meeting underscored better relationship and professional understanding between tenderers and government procuring entities for implementing various projects under Annual Development Programme (ADP).
They also emphasised the improvement in bilateral relationship requires greater communications and face-to-face dialogue between tenderers and government procuring entities at a regular interval.
Speakers made the observations at a meeting of Government-Tenderers Forum (Kroi Sanglap Forum) organised by Central Procurement Technical Unit of Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division under the Ministry of Planning at the LGED Auditorium in Sirajganj on Saturday.
Secretary of IME division Shahid Ullah Khandaker, Director General of CPTU Faruque Hossain, Lead Procurement Specialist of World Bank Bangladesh Zafrul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Sirajganj Md Billal Hossain, CEO of Bangladesh Centre for Communication Programs (BCCP) Mohammad Shahjahan and Procurement Consultant of WB ANM Mustafizur Rahman spoke at the programme.
