Apurba, Mehazabien melt hearts on Valentine’s Day

The popular pair of Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Mehazabien Chowdhury melted hearts on Valentine’s Day with an excellent performance in the tele-drama ‘Tumi Jodi Bolo’.

The tele-drama has started gaining popularity on YouTube after being aired on RTV on February 14. Shihab Shahin and Saiful Islam Rana jointly have written the script while Shihab Shahin directed the tele-drama.

The story revolves around Abir and Mili, who are deeply in love with each other, but hide it from one another in the fear of breaking the friendship between Abir and Mili’s brother Mizan. Apurba and Mehazabien play Abir and Mili respectively, while actor-anchor Alif has portrayed Mizan on screen.

“I have been receiving a lot of positive response over the phone and social media after ‘Tumi Jodi Bolo’ was telecast. I am amazed with the love of the viewers,” Shahin gushed.

“In my heart, I knew that the viewers would like the tele-drama, as it contains emotions and an everyday life story. Besides, Shihab Shahin is known for making amazing romantic dramas, and I thank him a lot for this role. Working hard for these kinds of project really makes me happy. I am grateful to the audiences for expressing their appreciation through various mediums after watching the tele-drama,” smiled Apurba.

Mehazabien said, “It was an amazing script and I knew that the audiences would love it. I am enjoying the appreciation that is coming in from the audiences.”

DhakaLive also has news that ‘Khub Eka’, the theme song of the tele-drama, will be turned into a music video very soon. Composer Sirjum Munir has also confirmed this.

Apurba and Mehazabien have also been paired in other tele-dramas, including BU Shuvo’s ‘Tukro Prem-er Taan’ and Mabrur Rashid Bannah’s ‘Bekar’, in this month of celebrating love.
