Rituparno Ghosh-directed film ‘Abohoman’ will be screened today at 6:30pm at the TSC Auditorium of Dhaka University in the capital.
The film explores the nuances of relationships through a married film director who falls in love with an actress who is the same age as his son.
The film stars Deepankar De, Mamata Shankar, Ananya Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupta, Riya Sen and is produced by Mahesh Ramanathan, Reliance Big Pictures.
On the other hand, three other notable films—‘Kancher Deyal’ directed by Zahir Raihan, ‘Rina Brown’--a joint production of Impress Telefilms and Jazz Multimedia, and ‘Ghuddi’ directed by Salauddin Jaki will be screened at 10am, 12:45pm and 3:30pm respectively.
To note, the films are being screened in the ongoing17th edition of the ‘Amar Bhasar Chalachitra’ film festival organised by Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS). l
