Two youths held with yaba, phensidyl

Khagrachari: Army personnel arrested two young men along with 94 pieces of yaba tablets and two bottles of Indian phensidyl syrup from Bazar area in Manikchhari upazila on Friday night, reports UNB.
The arrestees were identified as Parvej Hossain,25, publicity secretary of the upazila unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League, and Sabuj, 22, an activist of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
Local sources said tipped off, a team of the army conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo at about 10pm.
Later, the army men recovered 94 pieces of Yaba tablet and two bottles of Phensidyl syrup from their possession.
The arrestees were handed over to Manikchari Police Station.
