4 held with arms, yaba

Police arrested three men from Khandar intersection area in Bogra town early yesterday in an arson attack case and recovered six machetes, 62 pieces of yaba tablets from their possession.
 The arrestees are identified as Lahiripara union parishad Chairman Julfikar Abu Naser, 43, of Bhabaniganj village, Shariful Islam, 38, of Thanthania village, Ali Akbar Golap, of Sutrapur in the town.
 In another drive, police arrested Ashique Mia, 30, from Nawdapara area while he and his associates were trying to kidnap a mobile phone trader from TMSS CNG refueling centre at gunpoint.
Abul Basar, officer-in-charge of sadar police station, said separate cases have been  filed.
