Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will attend a business seminar in Singapore today to promote trade and commerce between Bangladesh and Singapore, reports BSS.
To this end, he left here this noon for Singapore, said a ministry press release.
Bangladesh Business Chamber, Singapore is organizing the seminar to disseminate information of favorable business environment to attract investment in Bangladesh.
In the seminar, the commerce minister will focus on the business climate and investment potentiality as well as facilities being offered by the government for foreign entrepreneurs.
Bangladesh has good business and trade relations with Singapore as it imported products of $ 2,551 million from that country against its exports of $335 million in fiscal 2016-17 year.
The minister is due to return home tomorrow.
