Seminar on modern certification label

A seminar on modern certification label for seed quality confirmation was held at the auditorium of Seed Certification Agency in the city yesterday. Seed Certification Agency organised the seminar under “Modernisation and strengthening programme of seed certification label” project for protect  the farmers to use of locally produced or imported low quality seed of rice, wheat, jute and potato. Director of Seed Certification agency Mohammed Osman Khan presided over the seminar while Director General of Agricultural Extension Department Mohammed Hamidur Rahman was the chief guest. Additional director (Admin and finance) of Seed Certification Agency Mohammed Khairul Abrar, Deputy Director (Quality control) Mohmmed Nasir Uddin, Mohammed Nazril Islam and secretary of Gazipur Press Club Mohammed Aminul Islam spoke, among others. The project will be completed within three years at the cost of Tk 5 crore 27 lakh and 80 thousand while 3 crore and 27 thousands of Label will be printed with the help of The security printing press in Gazipur.
