Before their Australia test, Bangladesh football team yesterday posted a goalless draw with Malaysia in a FIFA international friendly match at Shah Alam Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
The match would surely work as a booster for the Bangladesh team before their game against Australia as the footballers made the best use of the match practice against a strong Malaysian team.
After playing under tremendous pressure and surviving some close range threats from the hosts in the initial 20 minutes, Bangladesh came out organized and went for attacks.
Bangladesh, who played with very defensive strategy throughout the game, were lucky enough not to concede goals as the hosts created a lot of chances. Bangladesh defenders, especially goalkeeper Shahidul Alam Sohel, confidently denied all the efforts of the hosts.
