Acid hurled at woman

A woman was injured in an acid attack by miscreants at West Matuail in the capitals Jatrabari area on Friday night, reports BSS. The victim was identified as Piya Pakhi, 50, wife of Ruhul Amin of Bishadpur village in Ataikula upazila of Pabna district. She resides at West Matuail in the capital’s Jatrabari area. Quoting the victim, ASI Setu Chandra Das, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp, said criminals  threw acid on Piya.
