Malik urges health officials to perform duties sincerely

MANIKGANJ: State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malik, MP, urged the health officials to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and honestly, reports BSS.

He also called upon them identifying the problems in health related departments and raising those to the higher authorities for solving on time.

The state minister came up with the call while addressing a co-ordination meeting with health officials of Manikganj Colonel Malek Medical College, Manikganj 250 bed hospital and local Department of Family Planning office held at the auditorium of 250 bed hospital yesterday as the chief guest.

Chaired by Dr. Md. Khurshid Alam, Civil Surgeon of Manikganj, the function was addressed, among others, by Dr. Aktaruzzaman, Principal, Colonel Malek Medical College, Dr. Md. Saifur Rahman, Superintendent, Manikganj 250 bed hospital and Dr. Ranjit Kumar Mondol, Deputy Director (DD), local family planning office.

Earlier, the state minister distributed 1000 blankets among the cold hit poor people of Garpara under Manikganj sadar upazila.
