Shop owner burnt alive

MOULVIBAZAR: A grocery shop owner was burnt alive when a fire broke out at his shop at Sharerganj village under Sreemangal upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports BSS.

The victim was identified as Abdul Ahad, 50, a resident of the same area.

Fire service sources said the fire might have been originated from mosquito coil. Police recovered the body from the spot, said KM Najrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sreemangal police station.
