Baunia slum catches fire

A fire broke out at Baunia shanties in the Mirpur area of the capital yesterday morning, reports UNB. Fire service control room sources said that the fire broke out at the shanties adjacent to Baunia Beribadh area around 10:05am. On information, five firefighting teams rushed to the spot and doused the fire around 11am. The details about the fire could not be known immediately.
