‘Ansar Al Islam man’ held in city

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested a member of banned militant outfit Ansar Al Islam along with huge Jihadi books and training manuals from Gendaria Rail Station in the capital yesterday morning, reports UNB.

The arrestee was identified as Ismail Hossain, a trainer of the militant outfit.

Tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted the drive in the area and arrested Ismail along with huge Jihadi books and training manuals, said Mahiuddin, additional SP of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-10.
