Three female students electrocuted in Naogoan

NAOGOAN: Three female students of a madrasah were electrocuted and at least 15 others injured in Manda upazila of the districk yesterday, reports BSS. The incident took place at Satihat Tamijuddin Chakdar Hafezia Mahila Madrasah. The deceased were identified as Rabeya, 12, Meem, 14 and Sharmin, 13. Police said  the two-storied tin-shade building came under electric short-circuit as the cable of power was connected with it. The injured were taken to Manda Sadar Hospital. Later, the 10 critically injured were shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
