BLRI appoints Director General

Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI) has appointed Dr Nathu Ram Sarkar as its director general, said a press statement.

Prior to his joining, Nathu served as the head of Poultry Production Research Department of the same institute. He was also the project director of Foder Research Development Project.

Sarkar obtained his masters degree in Animal Science from Bangladesh Agricultural University in 1985, added the statement.
