To mark the 46th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and Russia and 25th anniversary of the foundation of Serov Academy of Fine Arts, Serov Academy of Fine Arts, in cooperation with the Russian Center of Science & Culture (RCSC) in Dhaka, has organised a weeklong painting exhibition on RCSC premises in the capital.
Renowned Artist Samarjit Roy Chowdhury was present as chief guest and inaugurated the exhibition on Friday at the exhibition hall of RCSC in Dhaka. Alexander P. Demin, Head of RCSC in Dhaka was present as special guest. Besides, Russian delegates who were the participants in 16th Dhaka International Film Festival, Liya Gilmutdinova, Head of Cinematography Sector, Mininitry of Culture of the Republic of tatarstan and Tatiana Zokova (Moscow) were also present as guests of honour.
Among the students of Serov Academy of Fine Arts, 116 students are participating in the exhibition with their 120 painting works.
The exhibition is open to the visitor everyday from 11am to 3pm till January 26.
To note, closing and award ceremony and cultural programme will be held on January 26 at 5pm at RCSC auditorium.
