Tk 4.25cr donation to PM’s fund

Twenty individuals and government and private organisations donated cheques of over Tk 4.25 crore to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund on Thursday, reports UNB.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received the cheques of donation at a simple ceremony at her office.

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Narayan Chandra Chanda, Principal Secretary Nojibur Rahman and Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim were present on the occasion.

Later, President of Bangabandhu Textile Engineering and member of Jamalpur District Awami League Engineer Mohammad Mozaffar Hossain also donated 5,000 pieces of blanket to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund.
