Complete construction of ‘govt treasury’ building: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday directed the authorities concerned to complete the construction works on the ‘government treasury’ building being built in the capital keeping in mind the issue of moisture and risk of fire, reports UNB.

The Prime Minister gave the directive while witnessing a power-point presentation on the ongoing construction of the government treasury at her office.

The treasury is being constructed near Novotheatre and Army Museumat Bijoy Sharani in the capital to preserve various gifts and mementos received by the President, Prime Minister and other VVIPs of the country.

After the programme, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters.
