National Productivity Organization (NPO) yesterday introduced e-document and digital attendance system to ensure transparency and mobility of its activities, reports UNB. Secretary of Ministry of Industries Mohammad Abdullah inaugurated the digital activity at NPO office in the capital.
As NPO is an agency under the Ministry of Industries, which is responsible for the economic growth through the promotion of productivity in Bangladesh, the digital attendance and e-filing system aim to create responsibility and accountability among the NPO officers while processing files, says a press release.
It will also ensure the arrival and departure of the officers and staffs of the organisation in time as well as benefitting the stakeholders related to productivity.
However, NPO Director SM Ashrafuzzaman was also present in the inaugural programme among other officials.
