Vietnamese Ambassador to Bangladesh Tran Van Khoa yesterday said Bangladesh needs to upgrade its infrastructure sector, especially the port facilities, with utmost priority to facilitate trade and investment benefitting all, reports UNB. Besides, import duty imposed by the Bangladesh government for the foreign buyers is a bit high in Bangladesh, he said.
Ambassador Van Khoa had a meeting Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) President Abul Kasem Khan and raised the issues. The Vietnamese Amba-ssador said the exchange of trade delegations will usher a new horizon of business interaction between the entrepreneurs of both the countries. He said there are so many similarities between Bangladesh and Vietnam.
