Police yesterday recovered four bodies of a family from their residence at Goledighirpar of Cox's Bazar municipality yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as Suman Chowdhury, 40, a cosmetics shop owner of the area, his wife Baby Chowdhury and their two daughters - Abantika Chowdhury, 5, and Jhoti Chowdhury, 3.
Raj Bijhari, Suman's neighbour, also counselor of Cox's Bazar municipality, told UNB that finding no response from the house, the neighbours broke the door in the evening and found four bodies in the house. Of those, body of Suman was found hanging while those of his wife and two daughters were found lying on the floor.
