Alamgir’s ‘Ekti Cinemar Galpo’ submitted to censor board

Film expected to be released during Pahela Baishakh

National Film Award-winning veteran actor-filmmaker Alamgir’s latest directorial venture ‘Ekti Cinemar Galpo’ has been submitted to the film censor board on Monday evening. Alamgir himself has produced the film with the story also written by him. Along with Alamgir, popular actors Champa, Rituparna, Arefin Shuvo, Syed Hasan Imam, Sadek Bachchu, Saberi Alam and Wahida Mollick Jolly, among others, have acted in the different characters of the film.

Moreover, internationally-acclaimed singer Runa Laila will make debut as a music director with this film. Celebrated singer Ankhi Alamgir has sent her vocal to the playback of the film tuned and composed by Runa Laila.

Alamgir shared his thought after submitting the film to the censor board, “I have made this film with my emotion. Now, the rest of the part will depend on the viewers. However, I am very optimistic about the film.”

Alamgir informed that the release date of ‘Ekti Cinemar Galpo’ has yet to be fixed. But he hopes the film will be released during the upcoming Pahela Baishakh. If not possible that time, the film will be released any time close to Pahela Baishakh.

To note, ‘Ekti Cinemar Galpo’ has been produced under the banner of Alamgir’s own production house named Icon Entertainment.
