Education campaigners and activists at a working session yesterday focused on improving quality education to create human capital aiming to transform Bangladesh into a middle-income country, reports BSS.
Bangladesh would enjoy demographic dividend as it has a large number of young population, which eventually would contribute to fostering conomic progress, they told the session of Bangladesh Development Forum-2018 at a hotel in the capital.

Director of ActionAid Bangladesh Farah Kabir, representatives of different local and international organisations and education activists, among others, addressed the session with Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid in the chair.
Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Md Sohorab Hossain presented the keynote paper at the working session.
