Assault on teacher protested

Teachers, students and staff of Begum Rokeya University formed a human chain on the campus yesterday demanding arrest of criminals who assaulted a teacher with the help of some students on Tuesday.
Protesting the incident they also held a rally on the campus.
In the rally the speakers alleged that terrorists from outside with the help of the some students of the university entered the campus and assaulted teachers, students, staff and stalked the girl students.
They also said from last few years the terrorists, outsiders and some students have been doing unsocial activities violating the university rules.
They several times submitted written complaints to the university administration and Vice-chancellor. But no action has been taken in this regard. For that is why the outsiders with the help of the some university students have been doing their activities  smoothly.
Omor Faruq, asst, professor, accounting department said university campus now the den of the criminals.
No body looks after the matter and takes necessary steps in this regard.
