2 held with tiger skin

Barisal Rab-8 arrested two suspected members of a tiger poaching gang from a house in Khulna Customs Gate area on Tuesday and seized a 7 feet-long tiger skin.

At a press briefing in Barisal city yesterday, Major Adnan, deputy commander of RAB-8, said acting on a tip-off, they raided the area on Tuesday and arrested Abdul Jalil Gazi and Md Ashraf Fakir from the house and seized the tiger skin from their possession.
After interrogation, the arrested men allegedly confessed their involvement in poaching tigers and smuggling their body parts. RAB filed a case in this connection with the local police station and handed over the suspects to Khulna police.
