3 held with 80 gold bars

Magura: Police in a drive arrested three people along with 80 gold bars worth Tk 3 crore at PTI intersection in the town early yesterday, reports UNB.
The arrestees were Subadh Kumar Shil, 33, hailing from Manikganj, Niranjan Shil, 34, and Suman Shil, 35, residents of Savar.
Officer-in-charge of Magura Sadar police station Munshi Asaduzzaman said the trio was going to Satkhira riding a bus of ‘Songram Poribahan’.
Police conducted a search in the bus at PTI intersection as part of their regular patrol and recovered the gold bars tied with their bodies around 5am, the OC added.
