Bangladesh players still kept their hopes alive in the ITF Asian Under-14 Division-2 Tennis Tournament now being held in Ho Chin Minh City in Vietnam.

Md Rakib Hossain of Bangladesh moved into the boys’ singles semifinals eliminating SamiZeb Khan of Pakistan 6-1, 6-4 in the quarterfinals. Bangladesh pair Masfia Afrin and Zerin Sultana also qualified for girls’ doubles semifinal.
