The Bowling Action Review Committee (BARC) of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) cleared fast bowler Al Amin Hossain from bowling at domestic cricket competition after remodeling his bowling action.
The pacer, who was reported in the recently concluded BPL for his suspected deliveries, is eligible to play the ongoing Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) and the next Dhaka Premier League (DPL).
The BARC chairman and BCB director Jalal Younus stated all to media at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur yesterday.
“Al Amin Hossain after the end of the BPL worked with coach Mohammad Salahuddin and BKSP coach Masud Hasan since last 28 days. He took part almost 28 sessions and then attended our test,” said Jalal Younus.
“We’ve seen his video analysis. His permissible delivery angle is less than 15 degrees. He has improved a lot. Bio-chemically, a lot change brought in his delivery. A good change has been made in his footsteps. That’s meant that he worked a lot,” Jalal told reporters.
“We think he’ll be eligible to play in the ongoing BCL and upcoming DPL. We’ll soon give him our non-objection certificate,” he added.
When asked about twice suspension of a bowler, the BCB director said, “We gave our remainder if he is reported again within the next two years he’ll then be suspended for the one year from domestic cricket competition. What he knows well he assured us there will be no repeat of it.”
“There is problem in his one or two deliveries what he himself admits. He worked a lot on his deliveries. Hopefully there will not be any problem of his deliveries in future,” he added.
