Solid ties
Sir,
India and Bangladesh, two close neighbouring countries have recently signed on a deal named ‘Cultural Exchange Program for the year 2015-17’ during the recent visit of Indian PM Narendra Modi to Dhaka.
India and Bangladesh link with each other because the commonality is reflected in multi-dimensional relation at several level of interaction, for linguistic and cultural ties. And for their common history of struggle for freedom unites the people of two country than any other in the world.
I hope that the positive role of media will bring the people of these two countries nearer. According to the deal, approved by New Delhi and Dhaka, India signed for screening Bangladeshi programmmes on Indian television channels.
Dhaka’s media outlets were seeking New Delhi’s approval in this regard. Surely it will greatly expand people-to-people relation.
The expanded perception allows the people to experience the enrichment and benefits of new concepts and we are hoping for it.
