CHITTAGONG: A young man who went missing on Tuesday was found dead at Rangamati in Fatikchhari upazila on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Police recovered the body of Moin Uddin, 27, son of late Abdul Haque of South Rangamatia village in the upazila with his hands and legs tied with rope from a pond in the morning.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Fatikchhari Police Station Jakir Hossain Mahmud said locals spotted the body in the abandoned pond and informed them.
Later, they recovered the body around 10am.
He said the youth went missing on Tuesday noon and his family informed the matter to police in the evening. "He was stabbed to death," the OC said.
