Man kills wife in Nachole

A woman was hacked to death allegedly by her husband at Nezampur in Nachole upazila of Chapainawabganj yesterday morning.
The deceased was Serina Begum, 50, wife of Hazrat Ali of Gheon village in Nachole upazila.
Officer- in- chage of Nachole police station Tariqul Islam said following a family feud Hazrat Ali hacked his wife Serina with a machete at around 3:15 am injuring her seriously. Hearing her scream, the locals rushed to the spot, rescued her and took her to the upazila health complex. Later, she was shifted to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries at around 8: 30 am.
The local people detained Hazrat Ali and handed him over to the police, local
sources said.During a primary interrogation, Hazrat Ali confessed that that he hacked her for disobeying him, the OC added.
