Shoe factory catches fire

A fire broke out in a shoe factory at Nazirabazar in the capital on Monday afternoon. Four units of fire fighters were working to douse the flame, said Mostafizur Rahman, duty-officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, reports UNB. The fire broke out in the factory located on the 2nd floor of a four-storey building around 4:40 pm while its origin could not be known immediately, he said. No casualty was reported.
