Ashud Ahmed made new envoy to Qatar

The government has appointed Ashud Ahmed, currently serving as Director General of the South East Asia Wing of the Foreign Ministry, as the next ambassador to Qatar.
The proposal to appoint Ahmed as ambassador was approved by the government of Qatar couple of days ago, sources at the foreign ministry told The Independent yesterday.
