Some 137 more Rohinygas entered Bangladesh through different points of Shah Porir Dwip in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar yesterday, reports UNB. Delwar Hossain, senior fisheries officer of Teknaf upazila, said the displaced Myanmar nationals, including women and children, crossed the border through Jaliapara, Dakkhinpara and Paschimpara points of the island.
Earlier on Saturday, some 54 Rohingyas entered Bangladesh through Gholachar point of Shah Porir Dwip, said Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Jahid Hossain Siddique. Nearly 678,000 Rohingyas have so far fled to Bangladesh amid persecution carried out by Myanmar army in Rakhine state since August 25 last, according to Rohingya Refugee Repatriation Commission (RRRC).
