2 held with 7 arms in Ctg

Police arrested two people along with seven firearms in Bauria area under Sandwip upazilla of the district on Saturday. They also recovered 100 yaba tablets from their procession. The arrestees were identified as Md Rubel, 25, and Arif Mainuddin Russel,  40. Md Alamgir, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sandwip police station, said they arrested the duo along with yaba then gleaning information they further conducted a drive and raided a bush and recovered seven firearms, including six locally made pipe-guns, one local made LG (Light Gun), one round cartridge and one round cartridge shell from a black bag.
