KCC deputy assist engr missing for one-month

KHULNA:  Deputy Assistant Engineer of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Ajmal Hossian remained missing since December 7 last, reports UNB. Office and family members did not know whereabouts of Ajmal, said KCC Chief Engineer Md Nazmul Islam. “After one-month passed off on Sunday, we have informed General Department of the KCC about the missing news of Ajmal”, he added. Ajmal Hossain has been serving KCC as deputy assistant engineer for 24 years. KCC has been facing troubles as Ajmal went missing with many important documents of the corporation.

On December 7, he came out of home for office but neither he went to office nor returned to home. KCC authorities suspected that he went into hiding. Contacted, Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Mizanur Rahman said they found no complaint in this regard either from KCC or from family members.
