Road crashes kill five in 3 dists

Five people including a BGB member were killed in road accidents in Narsingdi, Bogra and Chapainawabganj districts on Saturday and yesterday.
In Narsingdi, three motorcycle riders were killed in an accident in Bhangar Char area in Sadar Upazila midnight on Saturday night, reports BSS.
Police recovered their bodies this morning. The deceased are identified as Rafiql Islam, 25, Ashuk Datto, 27 and Sohel Mia, 26. All of them were the residents in Sadar Upazila.
Police said the accident took place midnight last night when the motorcyclists were going to Megna Bazar. The motorcycle skidded of the road for dense fog and hit a roadside wall of a house.
The three motorcycle riders died on the spot. Officer-in-Charge of Madhabdi Thana Md Elias confirmed the incident of accident. The bodies were handed over to their family members, he added.
In Bogra, a youth was killed as a truck hit his motorbike in front of Shajahanpur Land Registry Office here yesterday afternoon, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Juwel Miah, 20, son of Helal Uddin, a resident of Domonpur-Natunpara of the upazila.
Our Chapainawabganj correspondent adds: a personnel of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was killed in a road mishap in Moharajpur Ghorastand area on the Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway in sadar upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Habildar Hafijur Rahman, 50, son of Md. Moslem Uddin of Namanepur village under Mohadevpur upazila in Naogaon district.
