Srabanti signs opposite Tahsan, Taskeen

Tollywood lustrous film actress Srabanti Chatterjee has signed as the upcoming heroine for the film titled Jodi Ekdin directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. Performing alongside popular actors Tahsan Rahman Khan and Taskeen Rahman, the actress will portray the character of Aritri in the film. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the film Jodi Ekdin will take place entirely in Bangladesh and for that, Srabanti has already submitted her passport to the embassy to acquire a work permit in Bangladesh. Earlier, she starred in the film Shikari which was produced jointly by Tollywood and Dhallywood. However, Jodi Ekdin will be the first Dhallywood film that Srabanti is going to star in, produced solely by Bengal Multimedia.
About her decision to work in the film, Srabanti said, I had a really nice conversation with director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. He beautifully narrated to me a splendid story. Also, his film trailer and songs had really pleased me earlier. I am hopeful that we are going to deliver a fabulous work.
Director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz said, Srabanti possesses all the quality that the character Aritri should have. With a lot of thought and going through the script, we have selected her for this role. The audience will realize this as soon as they see her on screen.
In addition, Srabanti is also excited about her work in the film as part of her ancestors were from Barisal and she has a special attraction towards Bangladesh. She is very happy to get the chance to come to this country once more, she said.
